A traditional strawberry tart revisited in a healthy version. Made with a shortbread dough without butter or refined sugar and a smooth and very fruity strawberry coulis, this strawberry pie recipe will have many fans at home!
Quick & Easy Caramelized Pears Recipe
Ingredients for 4 persons
- 4 small, not too ripe pears
- Butter
- Brown sugar
- vanilla ice cream
- Salt
- Pepper
Instructions
- Peel the pears and cut them into quarters.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium-high. Add pears
- Add a little bit of salt and pepper with a salt mill and a pepper mill
- When the pears start to brown, add sugar. Right about now it will start to take on some color. Start to stir for 2 to 3 minutes more until dark amber in color.
- Remove from the heat and carefully add the quarters of pear in a plate
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream
